Can't believe it...

i actually won an online contest!
This is a first.
I never bothered/believed things like online contests
until my friend Carla won a bag from TheBagHag.
So maybe, just maybe i could win something.

And so i tried out this online contest on Chictopia's Facebook account.
I had to get people to like my comment in order to win.
And what's the prize? A pair of Jeffrey Campbell boots!

I was so happy to read this message this morning!

I hope they'll ship the boots. If not, i'm gonna have to ask my relatives to pick it up.

Happy happy joy joy!

I've been lusting on..

a Mulberry bag from Target for some time now.
What i like about the bag, aside from it's hot pink leopard print, is that
it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to own one.
(I also like the black leather satchel)
But to my dismay, there are no Target stores in the Philippines.

So i was glad to find out that you can actually win one online!
Perfectly Polished Nails is giving away one Mulberry for Target bag.
How?
Click on the link below.

It rained today...

so, my thrift shopping challenge with my friend's Carla and Rav didn't happen.
A typhoon is expected to hit landfall tomorrow morning.

Anyway, last Friday i went to the mall and saw this cute pair of
sandals at Php599 ($13).

I love the colorful beadwork.
It's surprisingly comfy for something this cheap!
I'm planning to wear this to school next week with my maxi dress.

Thrift shopping will be rescheduled, but i'll definitely write about it.
Tschüs!

I am excited..

This Sunday, I'm going to Anonas(?) with my friend Carla
Anonas, from what i've heard is best known for Ukay-ukay/Thrift Shopping.
I've never been to any ukay-ukay store, so this is going to be a first.
We also came up with a challenge where we must create a whole new look/outfit
for Php 500 (roughly $11) only.
We'll see how this goes, and i'm gonna blog about it.

I'm really excited!
Tshüs!

Recently i found out that...

1. One of my classmates has Hepatitis B
2. Another one lives under a bridge and is suspected to be a druggie
and
3. even though I'm excited to leave next year,
i still can't brush away this lil feeling called FEAR.

I'm drawn to the future but it scares me at the same time.
I think i'm going through that stage again.
Like back in College.
I took my time, i did all i could to stop myself from graduating.
I would skip class, fail subjects, etc.
Graduating meant having to force my self to grow up and take on
RESPONSIBILITIES.
That word. The thought of THAT word scared me.

My blog aptly named after my misadventures is quite a bit of contradiction.
I'm never adventurous. I can't take roller coaster rides, i'm scared about a lot of things.
It's just that i think i draw in misadventures, or maybe i get myself into a lot of shit.

I am now, at a point in my life where i see my future as uncertain.
I do not know what's gonna happen to my family, my "relationship", my career.

Am i having a quarter-life crisis?!?

A more realistic wishlist

 I just want
1. Plain V-necked Tees from www.sexywhiteshirt.mulitply.com
only Php 395 ($9)

2. Trousers with belt pleats (Army Green) from Zara

3. I've always wanted to get a pair of Gold Tom's
but i never really got to buying them..
it's because...
 a) when i have money i don't buy it, i end up buying something else
b) i don't have money

4. Jeffrey Campbell Ballet flats, much to my surprise, was already being sold here in the Philippines.

5. Lastly, Rayban aviators

That's it :)
